About the role
The Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining existing accounts while also performing business development for the SKE territory assigned. The Rep will serve as a point of contact for all customers interested in specific service/products, such as oil collection/recycling, equipment cleaning, parts washers, industrial waste removal and more.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Identify, prospect and connect with customers who could be interested in SK specific services/products (i.e. collection and recycling of oil, industrial equipment cleaning, parts washers, industrial waste removal and more).
- Work with route drivers to convert new sales opportunities.
- Promote revenue and margin growth; sell products and services to clients in specific LOB.
- Grow the current customer base with new lines of business and deliver effective contract and relationship management.
- Monitor progress in sales and P&L goals.
- Negotiate and draft contracts, scope and quote projects.
- Interact with operations and customer service to deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Develop account plans, achieve monthly sales quotas/budgets.
Qualifications
- Reside within identified branch location, hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
- Proven ability to develop a book of business.
- 3+ years' business to business sales experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Time and territory management skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to facilitate a service team approach to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-through.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive decision-making.
- Ability to travel within the region.
- Working knowledge and current use of Salesforce is a plus.

Pay
Competitive Compensation: $70,000-$75,000 base salary + commission.
