Environmental Reporting QC Specialist III

A Day in the Life As a Reporting QC Specialist III, you’ll be responsible for accurately calculating and validating stack testing results using spreadsheets and handwritten field records. A successful Reporting QC Specialist III independently completes stack testing calculations while ensuring data quality and compliance with established standards. The compensation range for this role is $28.00 to $34.00 per hour. To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: Writing and assembling documents such as test protocols or test reports using templates, following style guides and SOPsCiting tolerances for these, e.g. 3A, 7E, 10, RA% using reference methods and applicable standardsUnderstanding roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and third-party accreditation standardsPerform technical editorial review of draft and final documents for details, grammar, spelling, calculations, results, and conclusionsReporting QC Specialists III are successful at “from scratch reporting” of stack testing programs, and they are knowledgeable about regional tests and regulationsCan independently resolve most anomalies and when encountering new tests, methods, etc. can extrapolate based on previous similar experiencePreparing ERT without an ERT test plan or reference documentCalculating test results using spreadsheets and handwritten formsReview work of and mentor junior staffPerforming various clerical work where neededContribute ideas to the reporting group (RMS/PIP) and support work groups that develop content, standard procedures, and other improvement measures Your Expertise and Skills These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervisionBachelor's degree in science/engineering or related field preferred. High School diploma is acceptable where writing/math/other skills can be demonstratedAbility to identify and investigate anomalies in data, such as inconsistent or suspect results, outlying run results, suspect handwritten data, etc., and escalate to other specialists or managers where necessary3+ years technical writing experience3+ years of experience with air test methods, permits, and regulatory requirementsField testing experience is beneficialIntermediate user of cloud-based platforms (ex.
