Environmental Specialist III
or drop it. So we can include a short paragraph with closing date etc. But we must not repeat job title as heading. The page already shows it, so we don't need heading for title. We'll produce sections: About the role (maybe combine overview and location). Responsibilities (list). Qualifications (maybe combine Minimum and Preferred). Skills (list). Benefits (list). Pay (maybe just a paragraph). No Schedule. We must preserve all substantive information, not invent. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. The posting includes many paragraphs about organization mission, benefits, special notes etc. We need to keep benefits description. The "Our Organization And Mission" and "Where You Will Work" and "The Benefits Of Working For The State Of Florida" are substantive; we can include them maybe under About the role or separate sections? The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could have About the role covering overview, location, mission, maybe benefits separate. But benefits is its own section heading Benefits. We'll include Benefits. We need to ensure we don't create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We'll output HTML fragment:

That's a lot but we must preserve all substantive information. It's okay.
Next Skills:

Post-secondary degrees from an accredited college or university with a major in marine environmental or biological sciences may be used as an alternative for the required years of experience on a year-for-year basis. Valid Driver License required for regular local travel throughout Southeast Florida and occasional long-distance travel.
- Preferred: Master of Science degree in the marine environmental or biological sciences or a related field. Skill with ESRI ArcGIS Online and Survey123. Experience with citizen science and incident reporting and response programs. Knowledge of and experience with coral reef out-planting. Rescue and Nitrox scuba certifications.
Skills
- list from Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities.
We need to separate knowledge vs skills vs abilities? The instruction: Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have Skills section for skills. Knowledge maybe part of Qualifications? But we have Qualifications section for minimum and preferred qualifications. We'll put knowledge items under Qualifications? Actually Minimum Qualifications includes experience and education. Preferred Qualifications includes Master degree, skill with ESRI ArcGIS Online, etc. Knowledge of coral reef ecosystems etc are listed under Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities. Those could go under Skills or maybe Qualifications. Since we have a Skills heading, we can put the skill items there. Knowledge items maybe also under Skills? But we could also create a Requirements section for knowledge. However instruction says prefer few substantive sections. We could combine knowledge, skills, abilities into Skills section. That's okay.
Thus Skills section will include bullet points for each item: Knowledge of coral reef ecosystems..., Knowledge of ecological..., Knowledge of coral reef resilience..., Knowledge of coral disease..., Knowledge of adaptive/sustainable..., Experience managing program..., Experience managing large..., Skill in math..., Skill in organization..., Skill in public speaking..., Skill in PC computers..., Skill in small boat..., Skill in SCUBA..., Ability to prepare technical reports..., Ability to understand and apply..., Ability to formulate policies..., Ability to communicate..., Ability to work collaboratively..., Ability to establish..., Ability to be flexible..., Ability to plan..., Ability to work in a team..., Ability to work independently..., Ability to determine work priorities..., Ability to identify stony coral..., Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
We'll list them.
Qualifications section: Minimum Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications.
We'll put:
Qualifications
But also note the Position of Special Trust requirement and licensing: Must be a certified scuba diver with Advanced Open Water certification who can provide documentation of at least 50 logged dives. Rescue and Nitrox SCUBA certifications to be obtained within 1 year if not already certified. Must have prior approval and meet the diving and/or snorkeling validation requirements in the DEP Underwater Operations Manual. This position is medically monitored. This could be part of Qualifications (maybe under Minimum). We'll add as a bullet under Minimum Qualifications.
We'll incorporate.
Benefits section: list benefits from "The Benefits Of Working For The State Of Florida". We'll bullet:
- Annual and Sick Leave benefits
- Nine paid holidays and one Personal Holiday each year
- State Group Insurance coverage options, including health, life, dental, vision, and other supplemental insurance options
- Retirement plan options, including employer contributions (see www.myfrs.com)
- Tuition waivers
- Total Compensation Estimator Tool
- More (see www.mybenefits.myflorida.com)
We'll keep as list.
Pay section: Pay
$58,833.60
Schedule: not present, so omit. We also need to include maybe a short paragraph for metadata like closing date etc. Already included in About the role. We must not include boilerplate like "Special Notes", "VETERANS’ PREFERENCE", etc. Those are considered boilerplate? They are substantive maybe but they are about veterans preference etc. The instruction: Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The veterans preference and disability accommodation might be considered EEO/equal-opportunity boilerplate. Likely should be removed. Also "Special Notes" about veterans preference etc. So we will omit those sections. Also "Our Organization And Mission" and "Where You Will Work" we included partly in About the role. We might keep mission as part of About the role. We must not repeat job title as heading. Good. Now produce HTML fragment. Check for any duplicated lines: we have some repeated phrases like "Works collaboratively and exchange information with CRCP staff, SEFCRI Team members, and all interested stakeholders." appears twice in original; we should deduplicate. We'll keep only one. Also "Works collaboratively, fosters effective communication and exchanges information with intra- and interagency staff, SEFCRI Team members, interested stakeholders, and the general public." and "Works collaboratively and exchange information with CRCP staff, SEFCRI Team members, and all interested stakeholders." are similar but not identical; we can keep both but maybe deduplicate if they are essentially same. To be safe, keep both but maybe combine? The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep both if they are distinct
