About the role

At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good. As an Environmental Remediation Intern, you will impact the world around you by helping us solve real-life challenges. You will assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff as you plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance; prepare scopes of work for subcontracts, conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets, and create technical reports documenting completed activities and results. Estimated time spent doing field work is approximately 85%, with some of that being out-of-town travel. When not traveling, you will work with team members within your assigned office.
