Environmental Remediation Area Manager

About the role

AECOM is seeking a highly talented Area Manager to oversee Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation projects, driving operational performance, financial forecasting, project delivery, and team leadership across a 125-person department.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly financial forecasting, manage working capital, and ensure compliance with QMS and project delivery systems.
• Manage program KPIs, client satisfaction, and risk management strategies.
• Lead a team of approximately 125 staff, focusing on coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with account managers to grow profitable backlogs and lead capture strategies for major pursuits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in environmental/remediation consulting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and business acumen.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
