Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits of wireless communications facilities and commercial properties.
- Take detailed field notes, photographs, and conduct interviews.
- Perform regulatory agency file reviews, review historic data, and environmental databases.
- Draft standardized reports in accordance with ASTM E-1527-13 (AAI).
- Conduct preliminary screenings of listed and/or proposed threatened or endangered species, critical habitat, National Wetland Inventory Maps (NWI), and FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM).
- Prepare template NEPA reports after interpreting compiled information.
- Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) to meet client and management standards within established timelines.
Basic Qualifications
- Attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Valid Driver License.
- Ability and willingness to travel (expected to be minimal).
- Good computer skills.
- Independent worker capable of conducting fieldwork.
- Dedicated to excellence.
- Experience conducting one or more of the following assessments is welcomed but not mandatory: Phase I ESAs, NEPA assessments, Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), Asbestos/lead based paint inspections.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, or related fields.
