Core Responsibilities
- Lead and support industrial hygiene and hazardous materials projects from proposal development through field execution, reporting, and invoicing.
- Perform project work related to asbestos, radon, mold, lead-based paint, indoor air quality, due diligence, site investigation, remediation, and environmental compliance.
- Compile, interpret, and evaluate project data and help prepare clear, accurate technical reports aligned with applicable state and federal standards.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, service partners, contractors, and internal team members to keep projects moving and communication clear.
- Help uphold a strong safety culture by following health and safety requirements and supporting proactive risk awareness in the field and on project teams.
- Contribute to business growth by supporting client relationships and participating in professional and technical organizations relevant to the work.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Geology, Engineering, or another applied science field.
- 5+ years of experience that includes a mix of project management, fieldwork, data evaluation, technical writing, and QA/QC in environmental consulting.
- Working knowledge of industrial hygiene, building sciences, due diligence, site investigation, remediation, and environmental compliance practices.
- Experience preparing technical reports and managing projects related to asbestos, radon, mold, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- State of Ohio Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist credentials, plus OSHA 10-hour Construction, Ohio Department of Health Lead-Based Paint Risk Assessor, and NIOSH PCM Analysis training.
Qualifications
- The ability to pass a drug screen and motor vehicle background check and safely lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
