About the role

AECOM is seeking a middle level Project Manager (PM III) to support our Environmental Remediation projects in Hawaii and Guam. This position will be based in Honolulu.

Responsibilities

  • Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following: Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR, Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR, Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
  • Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
  • Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
  • Manages other Project Managers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline and 4 plus years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • US Citizen, for access to DoD project sites.
  • Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.
  • Must successfully pass preemployment background check, motor vehicle records check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to successfully obtain a DBIDs pass to gain access to any required federal military installation site locations.
  • Candidate must possess current 40-Hour HAZWOPER and Supervisor certifications and be able to meet the medical clearance requirements of an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical examination.
  • Experienced with CERCLA and environmental science principles, including site assessment and characterization, remediation, risk assessment, environmental chemistry, etc.
  • Experienced with State of Hawaii, Department of Health TGM, SCP, and local environmental regulation.
  • Extensive DOD and CLEAN Experience in Hawaii and Guam.
  • Proven project estimating experience, preferably environmental.
  • Experienced with Client and Regulatory interactions.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Master’s Degree in engineering, Geology, and Environmental Science, or related discipline. Professional registration preferred.
  • Knowledgeable and experience working on Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and preparing technical reports.
  • Experienced with field work, including oversight of subcontractors.

Additional Information
