Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and manage environmental permit applications, including ESCGP-4, Nationwide Permit 12 (NWP 12), and other applicable general permits
- Develop Erosion & Sediment Control (E&S) Plans and Post-Construction Stormwater Management (PCSM) plans
- Support development of grading plans, pipeline alignments, and profiles for oil and gas infrastructure
- Conduct wetland delineations in accordance with USACE methodology and support Chapter 105 permitting efforts
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations across PA, WV, and OH
- Perform site inspections, environmental compliance audits, and construction monitoring
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, and internal teams to facilitate permitting and resolve compliance issues
- Prepare technical reports, permit narratives, and supporting documentation
- Provide field oversight to ensure adherence to permit conditions and environmental protection requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- 3–10+ years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance, preferably within the oil and gas industry
- Demonstrated experience preparing and submitting permit applications in PA, WV, and OH
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes
- Experience conducting wetland delineations using USACE methodology
- Solid understanding of erosion and sediment control practices and stormwater management
- Prominent ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork in varying terrain and weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- CPESC (or progress toward certification)
- Experience with right-of-way support, including slips, design and restoration
- Familiarity with cathodic protection design
- OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, or similar design/mapping tools
