Environmental Lab Assistant
How You’ll Contribute
- Check sample receipts and logs, sample and inventory checks, and perform basic data entry (transcription).
- Perform duties like sample disposal, glassware cleaning, and supply receipt.
- Monitor the laboratory sample receiving area for sample drop-off.
- Perform batch or direct data entry into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Provide general lab assistance to laboratory staff.

About the Role
Now hiring a Laboratory Assistant to join our environmental laboratory services team! In this exciting opportunity, you will perform courier services, prepare and ship orders for clients, prepare water samples for analysis by completing sample condition checks, sample receipt/login, basic test measurements, sample preservation/spiking, and inventory monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and flexibly work directly with the Client Services team daily, communicating any sample/production issues to senior staff.
- Cross-training and supporting in other areas of the lab, as needed.
