About the Role
Consolidated Asset Management Services (CAMS) is a leading provider of project, asset management, commercial, and operational services to the power generation, exploration & production (E&P), and midstream sectors of the energy industry. Join our Environmental Services team in Houston, TX, as an Environmental Intern to gain hands-on experience in environmental compliance and sustainability in the energy industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental compliance assessments for industrial sites (may require travel).
- Perform and quality-check calculations for air emissions, water discharge, and waste management.
- Support Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reviews and report preparation.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly wastewater discharge monitoring reports and other routine reports.
- Contribute to renewable energy site development, including critical issues analyses, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and environmental due diligence.
- Compile and format environmental performance statistics.
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive end-of-summer presentation to the CEO and leadership team, summarizing key projects, insights, and actionable recommendations based on internship work.
Qualifications
- Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in an environmental-related field (e.g., environmental science, engineering, or policy; graduation: Dec 2026 or May 2027).
- GPA: Minimum 3.0 (3.5+ preferred).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in financial data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including presenting to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in environmental reporting and record-keeping.
- Self-motivated with strong time management to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
- Collaborative team player with adaptability to learn new tools and technologies.
Pay
$19 - $22 an hour
