As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience within our Environmental team. Throughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with hazardous waste program management
- Preparing compliance reports
- Conducting site inspections
- Supporting audits to identify and address potential risks.
- Help develop and deliver training materials to enhance employee understanding of environmental responsibilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement in compliance practices.
- Support ongoing projects, reporting, analysis, or process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and internship program activities.
- Present project outcomes, recommendations, or key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, etc.
- Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred
- Must not require sponsorship to work in
