About the role

As the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Director, you will lead the development and implementation of EHS policies and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will also oversee environmental audits, emergency response plans, and workplace safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce comprehensive EHS policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all environmental audits and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Manage emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee workplace safety initiatives and conduct regular safety inspections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business operations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Public Health, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in EHS management, including experience in regulatory compliance and emergency response.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and implementing EHS programs.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and management techniques.
  • Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
