Environmental Health & Safety Consultant

About the role

The Environmental Health & Safety Consultant will provide expert guidance on workplace safety and environmental compliance to clients across Oakland, Fremont, Hayward, and Richmond, California.

Responsibilities

• Assess client facilities for potential hazards and recommend preventive measures
• Develop and implement safety training programs for employees
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Prepare and present reports on safety and environmental performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety and sustainability into business operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS consulting or related field
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
