Environmental Health Safety and Security

Location: Blue Anchor, NJ (Eggo plant)

About the role

You’ll foster a culture of safety to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses. Your role includes implementing safety standards, providing impactful training, and developing innovative hazard prevention programs. Your expertise will help identify and mitigate workplace health and safety risks. You’ll lead environmental compliance activities, ensuring our facility adheres to regulations. You’ll be part of a dedicated and diverse team that promotes team spirit and community involvement through engaging activities and volunteer opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical resource for plant safety and environmental compliance.
• Ensure accurate EHS recordkeeping, document management, and case management. Prepare and submit required records and reports.
• Lead and collaborate on safety and environmental programs with a strong emphasis on building a preventative culture.
• Prioritize and mitigate site hazards and risks proactively.
• Participate in EHS performance improvement initiatives to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Track, report, and analyze EHS performance.
• Manage site EHS programs.
• Use problem-solving skills to support leadership and achieve results.

Requirements

• Strong experience and knowledge of safety and environment processes and procedures.
• Strong leadership, training, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated organizational, communication, research, and analytical skills.
• Experience and/or familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and plant-specific software systems.
• Permanent legal authorization to work in the United States (Kellanova does not sponsor employment visas for this role).

Pay

Annual salary range: $121,320–$148,280, based on location, experience, and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
