Position Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist Location: 93 Goldstone Road Fort Irwin California 92310 Clearance Requirements: Public Trust Clearance/ National Criminal Information Check (NCIC) Position Description Join a dynamic team supporting a critical NASA Deep Space Communications Network Services Contract. We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead safety initiatives on-site at Fort Irwin, CA. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of construction site safety, conduct inspections, manage contractor programs, develop and implement EHS policies, and foster a strong safety culture. You will analyze safety data, perform incident investigations, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and Cal OSHA standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant environment for complex projects supporting national defense and energy programs. Top Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Occupational or Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience (8-10 years); Master’s degree with 6-8 years of experience is preferred.Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation.Ability to obtain a US trusted background check and pass the NCIC, with proof of US citizenship.Strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal OSHA, EPA, NFPA 70E, NFPA 101 standards and regulations affecting construction safety.Proven experience managing multiple construction projects with changing priorities and deadlines.Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports and present to management.Ability to climb antennas up to 250ft and lift up to 50lbs safely.
