Environmental Health and Safety Intern

About the role

Trane Technologies’ early career student program internships provide current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12-week summer internship with exposure to a variety of assignments and experiences including Safety Management Systems, Standard Work, Policies and Procedures, Lean Principles, Risk Assessment, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomic Assessment, Environmental Compliance, Sustainability, and Training.
• Gain exposure to a variety of manufacturing processes and interact with layers of leadership within the organization.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS/BA in Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Science and Environmental Engineering, Safety Management, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or Occupational Risk and Safety Science.
• Cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0 and with Junior/Senior status.
• Excellent computer skills in Excel, MS Office, Outlook-Teams, One Note and SharePoint.
• Demonstrated leadership skills such as campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, or exceptional leadership of work projects.
• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willing to travel to various Trane Technologies locations across North America.

Pay

Annual Base Salary Range: $20.50 – $28.00 hourly
