Environmental Field Technician
Responsibilities
- Support a variety of remediation and O&M projects throughout the region.
- Operate and maintain soil and groundwater remediation systems, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Data collection, site inspections, and system performance sampling.
- Field sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, vapor, etc., in compliance with applicable standards.
- Collection of detailed field notes and excellent oral communication.
- Coordination with contractors and service providers and oversight of contractor activities.
- Support and oversight to other field activities as needed.
- Cordination with project team, local stakeholders, and clients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required; College degree in environmental related field is a plus.
- 5+ years of environmental field experience.
- Good electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability and willingness to perform field work and work overtime as required.
- Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification is a plus.
Pay
$31.26 - $52.10, varies based on experience and location.
