Environmental Engineer I

About the Role

Supports environmental investigation and remediation projects by assisting the project team and Project Manager with field activities and technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sampling of soil, groundwater, vapor, and indoor air
• Calibrating equipment
• Overseeing subcontractors
• Assisting in data review for technical reports
• Operating monitoring instruments and collecting samples
• Recording operational parameters
• Moving independently in outdoor terrains under various weather conditions
• Performing office tasks involving computer use and data entry

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 0-2 years of experience
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Basic analytical skills
• Ability to perform routine field activities safely

Work Environment

Primarily field-based at industrial sites, requiring physical activity such as lifting, bending, and walking. May involve extended hours and outdoor conditions.
