Environmental Engineer, Geologist or Scientist
Duties
- Lead, coordinate and/or support field investigation and sampling events including soil, groundwater, soil vapor, etc.
- Collect environmental samples and field screening data.
- Maintain field forms and other documentation.
- Field and laboratory data review and interpretation.
- Technical report writing and review.
- Data tabulation and management.
- Environmental monitoring and construction observation.
- Collaborate/coordinate with general contractors, earthwork contractors, drilling subcontractors, utility locators, etc.
- Occasional out of town travel.
- Occasional weekend and overtime work.
Requirements
- 0-5 Years Experience performing Phase II ESAs and brownfield investigation and remediation projects.
- BS in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or closely related field.
- MS Office Suite proficiency.
- Strong communication skills, critical thinking, creativity.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Field sampling experience.
- Able to lift up to 50-pounds regularly.
- Possess and maintain and valid driver's license.
- 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and up to date annual refresher.
