Environmental Engineer Co-Op
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams to support project planning and execution.
- Support day-to-day activities within assigned projects and/or functional area.
- Participate in internal and external meetings by taking notes, tracking action items, and supporting follow-up activities.
- Perform technical or support tasks within assigned functional area and technical specialty in support of project and team needs.
- Successfully manage and deliver assignments on time.
- Perform a variety of technical and operational tasks assigned to support evolving business and team needs.
- Attend and complete Intern Workshops and Intern Summer Series Sessions.
- Complete intern capstone project assignment.
- Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.
Requirements
No prior professional experience required.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Software), Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science Data Science) or a related field is required.
- Continued enrollment in accredited under or graduate degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Software), Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science Data Science) or a related field post internship is required.
- GPA equal to or higher than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent is required.

- Ability to organize information, maintain documentation, track tasks, and pay attention to detail when completing assigned work.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly share information, ask questions, and document notes or action items.
- Ability to apply academic knowledge to practical, real-world technical challenges.
- Familiarity with technical, scientific, or data analysis tools relevant to the assigned discipline, with a willingness to learn new tools.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborate with others, and contribute positively in a collaborative technical environment.
- Adaptability, curiosity, and eagerness to learn in a consulting and project-based environment.
- Interest in consulting, client engagement, and technical communication.

Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
- Location A: $18.40 - $25.20/hr.
- Location B: $20.20 – $27.70/hr.
- Location C: $22.00 – $30.20 /hr.
