Responsibilities
- Lead air compliance programs across multiple manufacturing facilities
- Manage Title V permits, permit modifications, and regulatory submissions
- Prepare emissions inventories and air compliance reports
- Cook up emissions calculations, stack testing, and ongoing compliance monitoring
- Interpret and apply Clean Air Act requirements and applicable state regulations
- Develop environmental compliance strategies for manufacturing operations
- Support wastewater and hazardous waste compliance programs
- Partner with operations to reduce environmental risk
- Conduct inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions
- Develop environmental training and mentor engineering staff
- Support sustainability initiatives through environmentally responsible manufacturing practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
- 3+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience managing air permitting and regulatory compliance programs
- Strong knowledge of Title V permitting, emissions inventories, Clean Air Act regulations, MACT/NESHAP, and NSPS requirements
- Experience working with EPA and state environmental agencies
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to travel 20–30%
- PE, CHMM, or related certification preferred
- Experience with emissions inventories, stack testing, and environmental management systems preferred
