Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects from planning and permitting through design, construction, and closeout.
- Manage municipal solid waste, environmental compliance, and related infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and oversee engineering reports, permit applications, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Cookordination with TCEQ, NMED, ODEQ, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Develop grading, drainage, stormwater, erosion control, and site development designs.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client expectations.
- Review work prepared by engineering staff and provide technical direction.
- Mentor EITs and junior engineers.
- Serve as Engineer of Record and seal engineering documents where appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Collaborate with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees.
- Collaborate with CADD technicians and EITs to develop Construction Drawings and Specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer registration in Texas, New Mexico, or Oklahoma.
- Ability to obtain and maintain registration in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience; 7+ years preferred.
- Experience with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing projects and client relationships.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
Pay
Full-time position paid bi-weekly on a salary basis.
Schedule
Hybrid/flexible work schedule available.
