Job Summary

Veolia, the parent company of Clean Earth, is seeking a CDL Driver to join their team. This role is part of the Clean Earth talent acquisition process following the company's acquisition. The CDL Driver will be responsible for packaging, transporting, and disposing of waste materials in compliance with environmental policies.

About the Role

The CDL Driver will travel to various locations along an assigned route, ensuring that waste materials are transported safely and in accordance with all relevant regulations. This role involves maintaining accurate records, following instructions, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Packaging and transporting waste materials safely according to federal, state, and local regulations
  • Completing required paperwork in accordance with regulations and customer policies
  • Loading and securing materials, and unloading trucks at various customer sites or Clean Earth locations
  • Preparing and loading trucks with necessary supplies
  • Providing high-level customer service to assigned accounts and resolving issues with the Manager or Dispatcher
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip checks on assigned trucks
  • Planning schedules/routes based on customer needs
  • Fulfilling DOT guidelines while driving
  • Performing other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of Windows-based software
  • Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement
  • Pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
  • Willingness to wear company-provided personal protective equipment
