About the role

Candidate must live in the Maryville, TN area. Veolia has acquired Clean Earth. Recruiting and hiring for this role is being managed in partnership with the Clean Earth talent acquisition team.

Responsibilities

• Pack, transport, and properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmentally responsible policies and procedures.
• Maintain records with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Follow instructions and work independently after proper training.
• Travel to assigned routes, performing tasks such as loading and securing materials, preparing trucks, providing customer service, and planning schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks on assigned trucks.
• Review and update daily paperwork (e.g., manifests, route sheets).
• Drive according to DOT guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of Windows-based software
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement
• Pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively and resolve issues with customers
• Willing and able to wear company-provided personal protective equipment
