Responsibilities
- Assists with wetland and natural resource projects
- Sets up and operates GPS equipment and assists with map generation
- Collaborates with staff members on various environmental projects
- Attends project meetings and participates in discussions
- Interacts with contractors, clients, and site personnel during field activities
- Communicates daily with project teams and updates supervisors on site conditions and needs
- Implements field tasks and project activities as directed
- Schedules, trains, and oversees environmental technicians
- Supports project setup and implementation
- Captures and documents field observations accurately
- Collects and analyzes environmental samples
- Prepares reports, calculations, and project documentation
- Coordinates project tasks and tracks deliverables
- Assists with proposal preparation and project planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
- Up to 0 years of related experience
- Basic knowledge of environmental principles and applications
- Knowledge of environmental permitting processes, regulations, and test methods
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Effective teamwork and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to make decisions and solve problems
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying site conditions
- Ability to lift and carry field equipment (~40 lbs)
- Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS subsidiaries

- Military ranks equivalent to E-5 may qualify based on meeting educational requirements
