Environmental Analyst - Phase I

Duties

• Prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Transaction Screen ESAs, and Records Search with Risk Assessment (RSRA) reports with the support of Environmental Due Diligence Program senior staff/Project Managers
• Aid in the completion of Property Condition Assessments, Plan and Cost Reviews, and Construction Draw Inspections with the support of Construction Risk senior staff
• Conduct site visits throughout western New York, including the Buffalo and Rochester metropolitan areas, for a variety of environmental and construction-related due diligence projects
• Obtain, review, and interpret historical, regulatory, and municipal records
• Report findings to due diligence team leaders and assist in the evaluation of environmental and construction-related risks
• Independently manage due diligence assignments and meet project deliverable schedules

Requirements

• BS in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field of study
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs
• Experience with Quire or other report writing software platforms is a plus
• Experience (1-3 years) with environmental and construction-related due diligence projects such as Phase I ESAs, Transaction Screen ESAs, Phase II ESAs, Property Condition Assessments, and/or Draw Inspections is desired
• Ability to work in a fast-paced due diligence team environment
• Good verbal, technical writing, communication, and time management skills are essential

Salary Range

Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00/hour
