Environmental Aide
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned areas according to facility standards.
- Replenish paper products, soap, and other environmental services supplies.
- Collect and dispose of trash and soiled linens following infection control procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness in accordance with OSHA, CDC, and facility infection prevention guidelines.
- Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
- Provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and staff.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Environmental Aide or in housekeeping within a skilled nursing facility, nursing home, healthcare, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Schedule
Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available. Weekend availability is required for Full-Time positions. Flexible scheduling may be available for Part-Time positions.
