Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and safety programs
• Conduct jobsite inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments
• Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and accident reporting
• Develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and compliance programs
• Prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and applicable environmental regulations
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and regulatory records
• Support project managers and field supervisors in integrating safety into project planning and execution
• Monitor safety performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Cover safety performance metrics and KPIs
• Coordinate with external regulatory agencies and safety accreditation organizations
• Promote safety awareness across field and office teams

Qualifications and Certifications

• Experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Health, or Construction Safety
• Industrial construction safety experience preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and federal/state safety regulations
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Strong accident investigation and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience developing and delivering safety training programs
• Experience creating Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and corrective action plans
• Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with safety accreditation programs preferred
• Health & Safety certification required/preferred
