Environment, Health and Safety Auditor
About the role
As an Auditor for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), you will deliver BSI’s audit services to an assigned client base in accordance with all scheme and regulatory requirements. This is a home-based position requiring extensive travel for on-site audits.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of assigned clients based on geographical location and qualifications.
- Conduct both on-site and remote audits.
- Follow associated training plans to achieve Assessor and Lead Assessor statuses.
- Participate in additional training based on future business needs.
- Produce assessment results reports and manage these results with the client.
- Maintain client accounts by ensuring proper handling of records, visit cycles, invoicing, and other related matters to maintain client satisfaction.
- Support with leading teams, mentoring, and coaching new or inexperienced colleagues as needed.
- Support with additional assignments to meet assessment delivery business objectives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous regulatory experience within the United States with ISO certifications as an advantage. Other requirements include:
- A college degree AA or higher (or equivalent certification/work experience).
- Knowledge of management system auditing practices.
- Knowledge of general office practices, information systems, documentation systems, and technology.
- Knowledge of the specific products and processes and organizational structure of the client.
- Ability to build strong and credible relationships.
- Strong commercial focus, understanding customer needs, and adding value.

Pay
The salary for this position ranges from $95,200.00 - $142,800.00 USD annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
Schedule
This is a home-based position with extensive travel required for on-site audits.
