Entry to Mid-Level Environmental Scientist / GIS Technician Analyst

Responsibilities

• Compiling and analyzing spatial data in GIS, and generating maps and figures
• Review and synthesis of hydrogeologic studies, environmental reports, and other technical documents and information
• Conducting project-related research
• Compilation and review of environmental datasets
• Aiding senior staff with a range of tasks, including 2D and 3D data visualization and analysis, analysis of aquifer and groundwater quality data, and groundwater modeling
• Preparation of technical reports, graphics and client presentations
• Assistance with business development and marketing activities

Requirements

• BS degree in environmental science, engineering, geoscience or related discipline
• Experience with GIS software
• Experience with data management and graphics software
• A working knowledge of geology and hydrogeology
• Strong quantitative and communication skills
• Experience in analyzing spatial data and generating maps using GIS
• Experience conducting basic internet information searches
• The ability to compile, organize, synthesize and perform simple analyses of environmental data using standard software
• Functioning well in a team environment
• Experience with website development and programming is considered a plus

• U.S. Citizen, LPR I-155 card holder, TN visa-eligible only

Pay

$45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule

8 hour shift Monday to Friday
