Responsibilities

• Set up equipment
• Conduct quality checks and react to quality issues
• Communicate and interface with all departments
• Assist in maintenance activities
• Use hand tools
• Operate hand pallet jack to move pallets several times per shift
• Complete daily housekeeping tasks
• Attend safety and team meetings/training
• Conduct monthly safe audits
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to communicate effectively and maintain attention to detail
• Frequently required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach/pull with hands and arms
• Perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Stand continuously for 30–60 minutes
• Climb or balance; stoop, bend, kneel, crawl around various pieces of equipment daily
• Ascend and descend 2 steps to repair and clear jams on stretch wrap machine and 3 steps to dump boxes of bands
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds from different heights
• Lift arms over head to clean equipment daily
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Must be able to work up to twelve (12) hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends on a swing shift rotation
• May require additional hours beyond regularly scheduled 12-hour workday (evenings and weekends)
• Fully comply with all OSHA safety rules and regulations
• Demonstrate the ability to follow directions
