About the role

The ideal candidate will join Dewberry Engineers in either our Fairfax, VA or Richmond, VA office to work on all phases of civil/environmental engineering including planning, design, and construction management of water and wastewater treatment, collection, distribution, storage and pumping systems. Typical projects involve working with local and regional municipal clients to solve complex water and wastewater challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local and regional municipal clients to solve complex water and wastewater challenges.
  • Work on all phases of civil/environmental engineering including planning, design, and construction management of water and wastewater treatment, collection, distribution, storage and pumping systems.
  • Use CADD software to assist in project development.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Participate in a team environment to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience, with previous internship experience preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using CADD software.
  • Desire to work in a team environment.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred but not required.

Pay

The projected range for this position is $77,700 - $82,200 annually, depending upon other factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
