About the Role
Performs a combination of warehouse, shipping and/or receiving tasks, inspection, and tracks company inventory.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic tasks regarding the receiving process, including receiving intercompany POs and researching information pertaining to incoming shipments.
- Perform Volume and Manifest transactions, put away parts to stock.
- Perform basic tasks on the shipping process, including arranging delivery of parts off site or customer pick-up.
- Generate shipping documentation, including AWB (airway bill), invoice, SU (Shippers Letters of Instructions), and other manual shipments.
- Perform "Skip Lot" and UOM conversions for domestic and international shipping.
- Analyze basic material movements to locate parts, serial number, and quantity change.
- Perform stock transfers, labeling, parts packing, and re-packing when needed.
- Conduct cycle counts, re-counts, and return of stock material re-certified/repaired.
- Handle shipping and receiving of hazardous material, including related documentation and international paperwork.
- Manage emergencies such as system outages (e.g., no SAP), parts expediting, and panic ticket systems.
- Suggest improvements on activities, processes, and tasks.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, including housekeeping duties.
- Adhere to productivity and accuracy standards while working safely and professionally.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift certification and ability to operate machinery and power tools.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving functions, inventory systems, and methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to navigate SAP.
- Valid Driver License required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required.

- Must pass random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
