About the role
Warehouse associates are the foundation of our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process while ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse Worker, you will support shipping and/or receiving functions, perform general warehouse duties, and function as a team member within the department.
Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties such as forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, breaking down pallets, tote stacking, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
- Maintain warehouse area, loading dock, and trailers by performing general housekeeping duties and keeping work areas clear and safe; report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Conduct daily safety checks of assigned forklift/pallet jack in accordance with company policy.
- Perform damage control checks on received items and contact supervisor about removing damaged items per company policy.
- Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
- Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
- Review work schedule and daily production paperwork to prepare for operations.
- Wear all required Personal Proteive Equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
- Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
- Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Must be able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to approximately 60-90 pounds, depending on location, throughout shift.
- Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
Pay
Pay starts at $15/hr.
Schedule
Sunday - Thursday, 3pm until finished.
