Entry Level Traffic Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic engineering design and analysis related to traffic signals, signing and pavement markings, lighting, work zone traffic control, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and traffic operational analyses.
• Work in a team environment, collaborating with roadway, structures, hydraulics, and environmental groups within our Transportation business unit.
• Prepare design and cost estimates.
• Meet with clients.
• Aid in proposal development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD).
• Experience working in a team environment.

Pay

The projected range for this position is $79,400 - $81,900 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
