Entry Level - Title Agent

About the role

To complete various title tasks efficiently and furnish a correct final deliverable in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Research vesting title, surface title, or mineral title using online resources (including production history when required).
• Communicate with Field Agents regarding needed research to cover gaps, Probates, District Clerk, etc.
• Examine documents provided by Field Agents.
• Using CityVerse, enter required data to generate necessary reports or use the client-provided program to create reports.
• Prepare flowcharts, plats, and deed plots.
• Review other agents' work and make corrections when required.
• Prepare the final deliverable to be sent to the client.
• Collaborate well with others and function as part of a team to accomplish common goals.
• Follow specific instructions regarding CityVerse and other software.
• Perform title obligations in a manner consistent with title protocol directions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Highly knowledgeable in Oil & Gas Mineral Title and Surface Title requisites in the states where Percheron operates.
• Sufficient knowledge to quickly access online records and review documents to complete a chain of titles.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate fully as a team player.
• Strong attention to detail, with good planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance as per the agreed work schedule (may require adjusted hours or overtime based on project needs).
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• 100% remote work environment.
• Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
