Entry Level Staff Civil Engineer

Assist in the creation of project designs from start to finish, including conceptual plans, detailed engineering, drainage analysis, and construction documents.
Develop plans, analyses, and details addressing permitting, site development, land grading, utilities, storm water management, erosion/sediment control, roadways, and water resources.
Generate the required engineering reports for review.
Perform site visits as needed to gather required data.
Review drawings and calculations.

BS Degree in Civil Engineering is required; MSCE is a plus;
EIT is preferred;
0-3 years of related experience;
Must be detail oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills;
Knowledge of AutoCAD 2019 or newer required;
Requires a valid, clean driver’s license and personal vehicle, as project site visits are required.

Frequent stationary position, handling, inspecting, and/or feeling documents, materials, and/or equipment relevant to the job.
Regular movement around the job-site, including ascending or descending on the landscape or on a ladder, and positioning themselves appropriately to access necessary testing materials and equipment, usually for prolonged periods of time.
May lift and/or move up to 31 lbs.
Close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required for this position.
May be required to undergo substance abuse testing in accordance with project requirements, US DOT Regulations, and/or Company policy.
Communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients using the Company e-mail and telephone systems.
Operate a computer, as well as other related office machinery, such as calculators, printers, and copy machines.
May require frequent operation of a motor-vehicle, which may require remaining stationary for extended periods of time.
