Responsibilities
- Adhere to established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
- Repair, maintain, and ensure the general operating condition of slot machines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic slot machine malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.
- Replace parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions; may repair some circuit boards with assistance.
- Utilize shop machines to fabricate standard or routine parts.
- Maintain moderate skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions, with possible advanced skills in either.
- Inspect, install, and remove slot machines.
- Maintain player-tracking system and EZ Pay equipment.
- Complete all regulatory and company operational logs/forms correctly (e.g., slot machine meter logs, parts logs, conversion forms, etc.).
- Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
Requirements
- Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
- General understanding of computers.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with guests and team members at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
