Entry Level Quality Inspector

About the role

Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Entry Level Quality Inspector to join our team in Foley, AL.

Responsibilities

• Conducts dimensional and visual inspections
• Proofreads paperwork for traceability for part number, lot number accuracy and test requirements
• Conduct visual inspections for obvious defects
• Scans certifications, packing slips, test reports and pertinent documents associated with the item being received
• Reviews and disposes all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Standards. Disposes and controls non-conforming products
• Affords assistance in internal, customer and third-party audits. Identifies and communicates opportunities to increase Inspector productivity
• Affords assistance with the on-hold process

Qualifications

• 0 - 1 year of quality work experience related
• Detailed oriented, well organized, self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and use of office equipment and computers
• Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
