Entry-Level Project Engineer - Nevada - Southern Pacific Region

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor job-site safety and accident prevention protocols.
• Document and manage construction schedules.
• Administer procurement and expediting of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and piping systems.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
• Review and negotiate subcontractor applications for payment.
• Prepare and document change orders and associated cost reports.
• Research and suggest improvements in construction methods and equipment.
• Maintain accurate as-built project records.
• Ensure quality control standards are met during project execution.
• Oversee project closeout processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.
• Strong general knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• A strong work ethic and a willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• The ability to relocate within the region for project support.
• Preferred construction internship or related construction work experience.
