Responsibilities
- Assist with grinding, polishing, and finishing optical components to specification
- Set up and operate polishing equipment under supervision
- Handle delicate optical parts safely and accurately
- Perform basic inspections using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Follow work instructions, travelers, and quality procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools or machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident; we deal in controlled information.
- Must be fluent in the English Language
