Entry-Level Operations Representative

Key Responsibilities

• Freight Operations & Execution
• Coordinate and execute shipments from pickup through delivery
• Monitor load progress and share updates, flag delays, or tackle issues head-on
• Resolve service hiccups quickly and professionally
• Systems & Process Management
• Work with load details in internal systems (including Transport Pro)
• Avoid confusion across customer portals and tracking tools by maintaining accuracy
• Ensure all shipment documentation is complete and ready to go
• Communication & Collaboration
• Connect with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Support customer needs and celebrate wins with Carrier Sales and Account Management
• Provide timely, clear updates to keep stakeholders informed and confident
• Carrier Sales Exposure & Development
• Bid on spot freight and master market pricing strategies
• Sources and vets carriers to cover loads
• Explores lanes, capacity trends, and market dynamics
• Develops carrier relationships and negotiates rates

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred (bonus points if you've got one!)
• Sharp eye for detail—you catch what others miss and love keeping things organized
• Multitasking ninja who thrives when juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Communication superstar with excellent written and verbal skills (clear, confident, and compelling)
• Google Suite proficiency—you know your way around Docs, Sheets, and Gmail like a pro
