Dewberry has an opportunity for an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join a growing group of professional engineers in our Fairfax, VA office. Responsibilities
- New multi-building facilities
- Retrofit projects
- Laboratory and mission critical facilities
- Energy conservation studies
- Facility condition assessments
- Due diligence reports addressing operating conditions and construction costs
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required
- 0–2 years of experience
- Experience in HVAC preferred
- Communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
- Ability to coordinate the work of multiple disciplines
- Ability to prepare mechanical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, project schedules and cost estimates to meet project requirements
- Proficiency in CAD; Revit preferred
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Salary Range
The projected range for this position is $82,500 – $85,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
