Entry Level Manager

Entry Level Retail Management with a purpose! Goodwill's Mission: To assist individuals with barriers to employment in making the transition to independence and self‑sufficiency.

Location: Caro Store, 1560 W Caro Rd, Caro, MI 48723.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train store staff.
• Open and close the store according to policy and as directed.
• Assist with procedures related to cash registers, returns, and cash handling.
• Deliver good customer service.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Appropriately handle customer concerns/complaints.
• Stock and return merchandise per company directive.
• Ensure that all merchandise is displayed appropriately.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the store, directing staff as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to use a cash register and follow Goodwill policy and procedures.
• Full‑time availability, including all shifts and extra shifts as necessary.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 35 pounds with or without help, reach, bend, stoop, and stand six to eight hours a day.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license.
• Ability to push, pull, and operate a pallet jack.
• Telephone access.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Pleasant, cheerful, and professional demeanor.

Pay

$17.00 per hour plus a 20 % discount on in‑store purchases. Monthly bonuses are possible, and career advancement opportunities are available.

Schedule

Full‑time position with availability for all shifts and extra shifts as needed.
