Entry Level/Lead Technician
About the role
The project involves pulling cable and porting within data centers, primarily fiber, with a focus on installation, testing, and troubleshooting (OTDR Fluke).
Responsibilities
- Pull and route fiber throughout the data center
- Assemble, stack, and drill racks
- Scan, label, and port equipment
- Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians
- Work delegation, planning, execution
- Documentation, QC/QA, cut sheets
Requirements
- Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable attendance history
- Hands on electrical or military experience is highly valued
- Must be able to work on ladders and lifts

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Bill Rates
We are able to go over $40/hr bill rate for leads, just need to ensure our average or blended bill rate stays between 36-40.
Contract Terms
4-6 month contracts. opportunity for conversion or project extension, based on performance, we are able to request increases and work with the client with labor rate and bill rate increases.
OT
There will be mandatory OT for this project.
Headcount
Right now we are starting with 4 teams of 5 (1 lead tech, 4 techs) = 4 leads 16 technicians burden: 18%, we will be hyperburdening the cost of PPE, on first-second week and clear after that right now I have that at $100.30 per contractor.
Candidates will be responsible for paying for their OSHA cert if they don't have it already ($60) and scissor lift training ($50).

20-23 for techs, the leads could be high 20s to 30/hr, Target SPC: just need to have an average rate per team be between 36-40 on the bill rates. hopefully that makes sense!
Example:
4 techs at 23/hr with 36/hr BR, 1 lead at 30/hr with 45 br = average br of 37.8 (SPC is anywhere from 350-390 depending)
