Entry-Level Laboratory Technician - Part-Time

We are hiring for multiple Entry-Level Laboratory Assistants in the Dayton, Ohio area. Openings are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, with most positions on 2nd or 3rd shift. While primarily part-time, full-time opportunities may be considered for 2nd or 3rd shift candidates.

About the role

Ideal candidates will be pursuing or have completed a degree in a scientific field, with multiple laboratory courses. We may also consider candidates with a High School Diploma if they have regulated quality and/or laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling activities in biosafety cabinets and cleanrooms
• Monitor biohazard risks tied to tissue materials and ensure proper decontamination procedures
• Collaborate with microbiology and operations teams to maintain EM program standards
• Support the design and continuous improvement of environmental monitoring processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a science field, or currently enrolled in a science program with multiple laboratory courses
• High School Diploma with regulated quality and/or laboratory experience (considered on a case-by-case basis)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $25.00 per hour. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
