Entry-Level HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings. Perform routine maintenance checks, diagnose issues, and perform repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions
• Maintain and service HVAC equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on HVAC systems
• Communicate effectively with building management and other technicians
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• At least 2 years of related work experience in HVAC field
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools
• Familiarity with HVAC codes and regulations
• Knowledge of refrigerants and their safe handling

Schedule
