Entry-level Healthcare Analyst
About the role
As an Entry-Level Healthcare Analyst at Cognizant, you will work on complex emerging technology and business projects to shape the next phase of innovation in the healthcare industry. You will assist in designing and developing fully functional software products catering to healthcare, aligning with user needs and business goals. You will serve as part of a team bridging development and operations functions, automating and streamlining operations processes while collaborating with software engineering to deploy and operate systems by resolving issues in dev/test/production environments.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with global project teams to deliver technology solutions.
- Assist in designing and developing software products for the healthcare industry.

- Establish and grow best practices and procedures to improve organizational ability to meet requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preferred majors include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Decision Sciences, Data Analytics, or Data Science.
- Internship or academic experience with programming languages like Java, .NET, C#, and PL/SQL.
- Internship or academic experience and/or certifications using cloud services: Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.
- Interest in data, including Data Science, Data Analytics, Databases, large data sets, or data mining.
- Excited to work within the Healthcare domain.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion and appetite to learn newer technologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams.
Location
New hires will be deployed to Cognizant offices in Englewood, CO, Plano, TX, or Mesa, AZ. This role is remote/hybrid, requiring associates to be in the office at least two days a week. Applicants must be willing to relocate.
Start Date
New hires will largely start in June 2026. While candidate preferences for summer start dates will be considered, business needs and position availability will determine the final start date. Exact start dates will be communicated with enough time for effective planning.
Pay
The annual salary for this position is $65,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
