Entry Level Geologist

About the role

We are seeking an Entry-level Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Environmental Scientist to join our dynamic team in Kingsville, TX. This role involves collecting environmental data from sites at various stages of assessment and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Collect groundwater samples
• Collect soil samples
• Install monitoring wells
• Identify and evaluate sensitive receptors
• Analyze and interpret analytical data
• Author technical reports
• Progress sites towards regulatory closure
• Learn and hone the fundamentals of Data Collection, Data validity, and QA/QC
• Document observations in support of scientific investigations and engineered solutions

Requirements

• 0-2 years' experience
• A strong, technical or educational background in geology or engineering
• The ability to provide technical support on projects
• Strong communication and writing skills
• OSHA 40HR HAZWOPER training preferred

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in geology, engineering, or the sciences
• E.I.T or G.I.T preferred

Skills

• Technical proficiency in data collection and analysis
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
